Photo Surveys - PLPOS
These surveys require our inspector to take a customer
specified number of photo's of the dwelling and/or property. |
Observation Surveys - PL3
Our inspector makes an outside observation of building
to determine construction, condition, maintenance, hazards, and protection. A
photo of the front and rear is taken along with photos of any unusual
conditions or hazards. |
Dwelling Observation and Value Survey - PL5RCT
This inspection includes all of the above. Also, the
inspector measures the building, draws a diagram, and provides exterior
information used to calculate present-day replacement cost. We now license MS/B
RCT, MSB High Value, R.S. Means, ISO HomeValue, and XActvalue replacement cost
calculation methods.

Mid-Range Dwelling Survey - PL6
This survey provides everything in the above survey plus
photos and descriptions of interior features. Our inspector makes an
appointment with the homeowner and walks through the interior to determine 1)
extra built-ins affecting replacement cost and 2) existence of any damage on
the inside of the home. This survey is usually requested on older homes or
homes in the $300,000 -- $500,000 range.

High Value Dwelling Survey - PLHVBE
This survey is our top of the line dwelling inspection. It includes all of the
above features plus a room by room inspection of the home. Inside measurements
of such items as counter tops are taken. The finished survey includes a full
narrative description of the home, its condition, maintenance, and protection
as well as a detailed replacement cost computation using the MS/B High Value
replacement cost method. This survey is usually requested on homes over
$500,000.

Electrical & Heating Survey - EHP
This inspection requires our inspector to inspect the
electrical, heating, and plumbing of the dwelling. A photo is taken of the fuse
or circuit breaker box, the heating plant, and any unusual or hazardous items
noted. This survey may be ordered as a stand-alone report or as a supplement to
another dwelling report. |

Wood Burning Stove - WBS
This inspection requires our inspector to inspect the wood burning stove. We
report on the condition and type of stove along with installation, clearances,
and ash disposal. This survey may be ordered as a stand alone report or as a
supplement to another dwelling report

Coastal
Exposure Survey – COAST
This survey
provides information about distance from and height above water along with
other pertinent information such as trees within falling distance. This survey may be ordered as a supplement to any other GIS inspection.

Flood Survey – FLOOD
This survey provides information about the insured building with special
attention to flooding concerns.This survey may be ordered as a stand alone
report or as a supplement to any other GIS inspection.

Bed
& Breakfast Survey – B&B
This survey focuses on the special concerns presented by a bed and breakfast
operation. Our inspector makes an appointment and inspects inside and
outside. Photos include guest rooms and kitchen area.

Dog Supplement - DOG
This survey requires our inspector to make an appointment and "meet" the dog. We photograph the dog and provide information about breed, weight, trainning, temperament, bite history, neighborhood, etc. This survey may be ordered as a supplement to any other GIS inspection. |

Every effort will be made to return our reports in less than 30 work days from
receipt of the order. In fact, any report that does not require an appointment
will be completed within 35 work days in our hands or it is FREE

All GIS field representatives wear photo identification cards with neck
lanyards at all times while conducting inspections.

All GIS field representatives are bonded.

GIS carries all appropriate business insurance policies. Certificates are
available upon request.
